On a visit to Athens, she saw a costume in a museum that reminded her of her own and then decided that she should "go home". Her daughter contacted us, we contacted the Greek Consul in Vancouver and after a moving ceremony in Victoria, the items arrived in a diplomatic bag in Athens. Along with it, and an album of Winifred's photographs from her service in the War.
