Μέσω φυσικών εκθεμάτων και ψηφιακής παραγωγής αναδεικνύεται η γεωγραφική και ιστορική πορεία του θεάτρου σκιών από την Άπω Ανατολή μέχρι τη Β. Αφρική και τα Βαλκάνια. Παρουσιάζονται επιλεγμένες φιγούρες από το ελληνικό θέατρο σκιών και φιγούρες από το θέατρο σκιών χωρών της Ανατολής. Επιπλέον, εκτίθενται φιγούρες ‘αποθέωσης’ μεγάλων διαστάσεων που εξυπηρετούν τις απαιτήσεις της αφήγησης των ηρωικών έργων του ελληνικού λαϊκού θεάτρου σκιών.
Through physical exhibits and digital production, the geographical and historical journey of shadow theatre from the Far East to North Africa and the Balkans is highlighted. Selected figures from the Greek shadow theatre and figures from the shadow theatre of Eastern countries are presented. In addition, large-scale 'apotheosis' figures are exhibited that serve the requirements of the narration of the heroic works of Greek folk shadow theatre.
