Παρουσιάζονται οι υφαντικές πρώτες ύλες, οι διαδικασίες κατασκευής του νήματος και διάφορα είδη υφαντών του σπιτιού που παράγονται στο οικοτεχνικό πλαίσιο, για ποικίλες χρήσεις. Γίνεται ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στα προικιάτικα υφαντά, καθώς και στην καλτσοπλεκτική. Την έκθεση συμπληρώνει προβολή βίντεο, όπου παρουσιάζονται τα στάδια επεξεργασίας των υφαντικών υλών για την κατασκευή του νήματος, καθώς και οι διαδικασίες που ακολουθούν μέχρι την ύφανση.
The weaving raw materials, yarn manufacturing processes and various types of home weavings produced in the cottage industry for a variety of uses are presented. Particular reference is made to the prefabricated weavings, as well as to stocking weaving. The exhibition is complemented by a video showing the stages of processing the textile materials for the manufacture of yarn, as well as the processes that follow until weaving.
