Συνεχίζεται η παρουσίαση δειγμάτων κεντητικής από τρεις περιοχές της Ελλάδας: την ΄Ηπειρο, τα Ιόνια νησιά και την Κρήτη. Η κεντητική παράδοση κάθε τόπου αποτελεί δημιούργημα της συλλογικής αισθητικής που επιστρατεύει συγκεκριμένες τεχνικές κατασκευής, βελονιές, διακόσμηση, μπορεί να αντλεί επιρροές από άλλες παραδόσεις και από το ιστορικό και πολιτισμικό πλαίσιο δημιουργίας των έργων, σχηματίζοντας εν τέλει τοπικό ύφος.
It presents embroidery works from various regions of Greece - Sporades, Cyclades, Dodecanese - that have a rich embroidery tradition with a recognizable local style. The embroidery techniques, stitches, decorative motifs and influences that contributed to the development of the local traditional embroidery art are discussed. The image of the woman embroidering the "sperveri" and the sound of her song bring the exhibition to life, bringing us closer to the embroiderers of yesterday.
